Prayer Request Form
We invite you to share your prayer requests in the next bulletin so your parish community can pray with you.
This weekend, Fr. Peter Clifford will say all our Masses for one last time before our new pastor, Fr. Mickey McGrath, begins his assignment with us. The staff and parishioners want to extend a huge thank you to Fr. Peter for shepherding us through this time of transition after Fr. George's passing. We are also grateful for Fr. Peter, Fr. Matthew Walter, Fr. Ed Palumbos, Fr. Sadhanala, Fr. Bob Kennedy, and our own Fr. Phil Brockmyre for covering all the weekend and weekday Masses since mid-April.
Gracious and loving God,
we thank you for the gift of our priests.
Through them, we experience your presence in the sacraments.
Help our priests to be strong in their vocation.
Set their souls on fire with love for your people.
Grant them the wisdom, understanding, and strength they need
to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
Inspire them with the vision of your Kingdom.
Give them the words they need to spread the Gospel.
Allow them to experience joy in their ministry.
Help them to become instruments of your divine grace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ,
who lives and reigns as our Eternal Priest.
The Knights of Columbus 10th Annual Recycle for Life Bottle & Can Drive is July 10 & 11. Save your returnable bottles & cans from your graduation and 4th of July celebrations to support local charities.
Bring your donations to the Assumption parking lot anytime from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, and before and after the Masses on Sunday. Over the past 10 years, we have raised more than $12,000, with 100% of proceeds benefiting local life-affirming charities. This year will be even bigger due to your great generosity and support for those most vulnerable! Contact Dan Mruzek (firstname.lastname@example.org or 585-766-2430 (call or text) with any questions.
Congratulations to all our teachers, parents, and students, for completing a most unusual school year. Enjoy the summer vacation! It's never been more deserved.
SAVE THE DATES:
Tuesdays in August, we invite all parishioners to Summer Faith & Fun: Fish Tales! Join us for dinner at 6pm (open to all parishioners), followed by children's activities from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, come for either or both, no need to stay the whole time. August 3, 10, 17, and 24. Watch for more details in coming weeks.
Have you filled out our Parish Needs survey yet? As we begin to return to "normal," your parish staff would love to hear how we can best serve you! This brief survey about parish activities typically takes 5-10 minutes to complete. Paper copies are available in Assumption's foyer and Resurrection's narthex, but it's easier (for you and for us!) if you fill out the online version. Thanks for your input!
Thank you for your ongoing support.
