A Season of Gratitude
Someone said that the best disposition you can have is "an attitude of gratitude!" I like that a lot. It touches something deep on me that invitee me to always think the best and be grateful for what is. I find the more grateful I am, the more I seem to have to be grateful for. Try it, you'll like it! It's the month of gratitude!
Thank you to everyone who has already donated to this year's Catholic Ministries Appeal. If you have not yet made your pledge, please consider doing so today. If you misplaced your pledge envelope, you will find one in our pews, or you can give online by clicking the image below. (Resurrection is parish #334. Assumption is parish #248)

Prayer of Thanksgiving
Father in Heaven,
Creator of all and source of all goodness and love,
please look kindly upon us
and receive our heartfelt gratitude
in this time of giving thanks.
Thank you for all the graces and blessings.
You have bestowed upon us,
spiritual and temporal:
our faith and religious heritage.
Our food and shelter, our health,
the love we have for one another,
our family and friends.
Dear Father, in Your infinite generosity,
please grant us continued graces and blessing
throughout the coming year.
This we ask in the Name of Jesus,
Your Son and our Brother.
