You are a valued member of our faith community at the Church of the Resurrection and the Church of the Assumption and we hope this this tool will help keep you connected with what's happening in our parishes.

An Advent Prayer
God of Love,
Your son, Jesus,
is your greatest gift to us.
He is a sign of your love.
Help us walk in that love
during the weeks of Advent,
As we wait and prepare
for his coming.
We pray in the name of Jesus, our Savior.

Did you know? While are always
four Sundays of Advent
, the liturgical Season of Advent can be between three and four weeks long depending on the day of the week that Christmas falls. This year, with Christmas on a Sunday, we will have the longest possible Advent season in which to prepare our hearts for the coming of the Lord.
1st Week of Advent

Saturday, 12/3 from 9:00-11:00 am: Breakfast with Santa! Contact Ted Bianculli (email@example.com) for advance ticket prices, or buy them at the door for $8/person, $30/family with 1 or 2 adults. Children under 3 eat for free.

Fr. Jim Hewes will preach at all weekend Masses and then speak at 10:30 am and 7:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday. Each session will be followed by discussion.
